Properties of distance spaces with power triangle inequalities
Metric spaces provide a framework for analysis and have several very useful properties. Many of these properties follow in part from the triangle inequality.

POVERTY-GROWTH-INEQUALITY TRIANGLE: EMPIRICAL EVIDENCE FROM NIGERIA
Purpose: Eradicating poverty is critical to achieving sustainable development. This study appraised the relationship between poverty, economic growth and income inequality in Nigeria and the interaction effect of growth and income inequality on Nigeria’s

Common Coincidence Points and Common Fixed Points in Fuzzy Semi-Metric Spaces
We propose the so-called fuzzy semi-metric space in which the symmetric condition is not assumed to be satisfied. In this case, there are four kinds of triangle inequalities that should be considered.

On certain new refinements of Finsler-Hadwiger inequalities
Several refinements of the Finsler-Hadwiger inequality and its reverse in the triangle are discussed. A new one parameter family of Finsler-Hadwiger inequalities and their reverses are proved.

The triangle of inequality in dental services: arguments for a new conceptual framework
This short communication paper aimed to compile the main determinants of inequality in dental services by distinguishing between access, utilisation, and provision of dental services.

Some Improvements of the Cauchy-Schwarz Inequality Using the Tapia Semi-Inner-Product
The aim of this article is to establish several estimates of the triangle inequality in a normed space over the field of real numbers. We obtain some improvements of the Cauchy–Schwarz inequality, which is improved by using the Tapia semi-inner-product ...

Do Poverty and Economic Growth Matter for Income Inequality Reduction in Yogyakarta Province?
It has been observed that income inequality is an economic element that may impede a nation's economic development. In general, Indonesia's Gini ratio has remained low for nearly a decade, although one region, Yogyakarta Province, unexpectedly exceeds ...

On Sharp Triangle Inequalities in Banach Spaces II
Sharp triangle inequality and its reverse in Banach spaces were recently showed by Mitani et al. (2007). In this paper, we present equality attainedness for these inequalities in strictly convex Banach spaces.

Reverse triangle inequalities for potentials
We study the reverse triangle inequalities for suprema of logarithmic potentials on compact sets of the plane. This research is motivated by the inequalities for products of supremum norms of polynomials. We find sharp additive constants in the inequalities for potentials, and give applications of our results to the generalized polynomials.

Some properties of fuzzy cone symmetric spaces [PDF]
In this work, we give a fuzzy analogy of cone symmetric spaces that we call fuzzy cone symmetric spaces. Since these structurere obtained by omitting the triangle inequality in fuzzy cone metric spaces, there are topological degenerations.
