Constructive entanglement test from triangle inequality

open access: yes, 2013
We derive a simple lower bound on the geometric measure of entanglement for mixed quantum states in the case of a general multipartite system. The main ingredient of the presented derivation is the triangle inequality applied to the root infidelity ...

Introduction to the hyperdeterminant and to the rank of multidimensional matrices [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
This is an introduction to the hyperderminant, according to Gelfand, Kapranov and Zelevinsky. The "triangle inequality", characterizing the Segre varieties such that their dual variety is a hypersurface, is proved in a geometric way (Theorems 3.3 and 6.2)

Sharp mean triangle inequality [PDF]

open access: yesMathematical Inequalities & Applications, 2010
By using a mean operator we shall present some sharp mean triangle inequalities in a Banach space which generalize the sharp triangle inequality with n elements and its reverse one shown recently by the last three authors in [7]. In the course of doing this we shall present a new two element triangle inequality with parameter and its reverse.

Constraining momentum space CFT correlators with consistent position space OPE limit and the collider bound

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2022
Consistency with position space OPE limit requires three-point momentum space CFT correlators to have only total energy singularity. We show that this requirement gives a simple proof of the known result that in three dimensions the parity-odd structure ...

Investigating the Effect of Tourism on the Triangle of Poverty, Inequality and Economic Growth [PDF]

open access: yesMuṭāli̒āt-i Mudīriyyat-i Gardishgarī, 2017
Along with the evolution of the relationship between tourism and economicgrowth, other aspects of economic welfare have been more attractive rather thaneconomic growth.

The Euler and Grace-Danielsson inequalities for nested triangles and tetrahedra: a derivation and generalisation using quantum information theory [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
We derive several results in classical Euclidean elementary geometry using the steering ellipsoid formalism from quantum mechanics. This gives a physically motivated derivation of very non-trivial geometric results, some of which are entirely new.

Genuine monogamy relations in no-signaling theories—a geometric approach

open access: yesNew Journal of Physics, 2021
Quantum correlations are subject to certain distribution rules represented by so-called monogamy relations. Derivation of monogamy relations for multipartite systems is a non-trivial problem, as the multipartite correlations reveal their behaviors in a ...

Banach Contraction Principle and Meir–Keeler Type of Fixed Point Theorems for Pre-Metric Spaces

open access: yesAxioms, 2021
The fixed point theorems in so-called pre-metric spaces is investigated in this paper. The main issue in the pre-metric space is that the symmetric condition is not assumed to be satisfied, which can result in four different forms of triangle ...

A quantum geometric model of similarity [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
No other study has had as great an impact on the development of the similarity literature as that of Tversky (1977), which provided compelling demonstrations against all the fundamental assumptions of the popular, and extensively employed, geometric ...

Versatile Magneto‐Dielectric Response of Epitaxial Thin Films of the High Entropy Oxide Perovskite Nd(Cr0.2Mn0.2Fe0.2Co0.2Ni0.2)O3

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
The magnetic high entropy oxide perovskite Nd(Cr0.2Mn0.2Fe0.2Co0.2Ni0.2)O3 exhibits a substantially large dielectric constant (εr) at room temperature, which shows distinct anionic and cationic contributions in the form of zero and finite bias peaks, respectively, down to its magnetic transition temperature (Tmag).
