ABSTRACT Background and Purpose White matter hyperintensities (WMH) are a core neuroimaging marker of cerebral small vessel disease (CSVD). Sleep apnoea (SA) is a recognized vascular risk factor, but its associations with regional WMH burden, short‐interval WMH change and cognitive performance in population‐based cohorts remain incompletely defined. We

Memory and Resting‐State Connectivity in Acute Transient Global Amnesia: A Case–Control fMRI Study
ABSTRACT Background and Objectives Transient global amnesia (TGA) is a striking model of isolated amnesia. While hippocampal lesions are well described, the network‐level mechanisms and the precise neuropsychological profile remain debated. Our objective was thus to characterize functional and neuropsychological correlates of acute TGA and their ...

Poncelet Porisms and Loci of Centers in the Isotropic Plane
Any triangle in an isotropic plane has a circumcircle u and incircle i. It turns out that there are infinitely many triangles with the same circumcircle u and incircle i. This one-parameter family of triangles is called a poristic system of triangles. We

Loss Reserving Estimation With Correlated Run-Off Triangles in a Quantile Longitudinal Model
In this paper, we consider a loss reserving model for a general insurance portfolio consisting of a number of correlated run-off triangles that can be embedded within the quantile regression model for longitudinal data.

DYNAMIC GEOMETRY OF KASNER TRIANGLES WITH A FIXED WEIGHT
In this article we consider the geometrical iterative process defined by the Kasner triangles with a fixed real weight. The main results about the convergence of this process are given in Section 2. The proofs are elementary and use the general theory of

The Tits alternative for non-spherical Pride groups [PDF]
Pride groups, or 'groups given by presentations in which each defining relator involves at most two types of generators', include Coxeter groups, Artin groups, triangles of groups, and Vinberg's groups defined by periodic paired relations.

Movement Disorders in Aicardi–Goutières Syndrome and Response to Immunomodulation
ABSTRACT This study characterizes movement disorders and treatment responses in seven children with Aicardi–Goutières syndrome (AGS). We retrospectively evaluated motor phenotypes, neuroimaging, and interferon signatures in patients treated with baricitinib or anifrolumab. Spasticity affected all patients, while dystonia was present in 4/7.

Morley’s triangles of a triangle in the isotropic plane
Morley's trisector theorem is one of the most intriguing results of elementary triangle geometry. Adjacent trisectors of interior triangle angles intersect in three points of an equilateral triangle. Taking into account the ambiguity when considering angle trisectors of pairs of lines one can extend this result to a more complete picture with 18 ...
