Electro-absorption of silicene and bilayer graphene quantum dots [PDF]
We study numerically the optical properties of low-buckled silicene and AB-stacked bilayer graphene quantum dots subjected to an external electric field, which is normal to their surface.

Infinite-dimensional triangularization [PDF]
The goal of this paper is to generalize the theory of triangularizing matrices to linear transformations of an arbitrary vector space, without placing any restrictions on the dimension of the space or on the base field. We define a transformation T of a vector space V to be "triangularizable" if V has a well-ordered basis such that T sends each vector ...

Numerical Investigation of Channel Geometry on the Performance of a Pem Fuel Cell
A complete three-dimensional and single phase model for proton exchange membrane (PEM) fuel cells was used to investigate the effect of using different channels geometry on the performances, current density and gas concentration. The proposed model was a

Analysis and Estimation of Downward Seepage from Lining and Unlining Triangular Open Channel [PDF]
This research concerns to study the quantity of seepage running downward from triangular open channel with lining and unlining using computer program SEEP/W (which is a sub-program of Geo-Studio). Using SEEP/W experiments two groups were carried out with

Upper Triangular Similarity of Upper Triangular Matrices
The author considers the following equivalence relation in the set of all complex upper triangular \(n\times n\) matrices: \(A\) and \(B\) are \(U\)-similar if there exists an invertible upper triangular matrix \(S\) such that \(A=S^{-1} BS\). If \(A\) and \(B\) are \(U\)-similar, then they must have the same diagonal and the same Jordan form.

On the eigenvalues and eigenvectors of nonsymmetric saddle point matrices preconditioned by block triangular matrices [PDF]
Block lower triangular and block upper triangular matrices are popular preconditioners for nonsymmetric saddle point matrices. In this note we show that a block lower triangular preconditioner gives the same spectrum as a block upper triangular ...

This study reveals a unique active site enriched in methionine residues and demonstrates that these residues play a critical role by stabilizing carbocation intermediates through novel sulfur–cation interactions. Structure‐guided mutagenesis further revealed variants with significantly altered product profiles, enhancing pseudopterosin formation. These
