Survey‐Based Research for Creativity and Innovation Management: Review and Recommendations

open access: yesCreativity and Innovation Management, Volume 35, Issue 2, Page 395-410, June 2026.
ABSTRACT Survey methodology remains a widely used data collection method in creativity and innovation management studies. However, evolving technological advancements and methodological challenges necessitate a reassessment of best practices to benefit the most from it.

Optimizing Large‐Scale Mathematical Assessments: Leveraging Hierarchical Attribute Structures and Diagnostic Classification Models for Enhanced Student Diagnostics

open access: yesEducational Measurement: Issues and Practice, Volume 45, Issue 2, Summer 2026.
Abstract Diagnostic classification models (DCMs) assess students’ mastery of cognitive attributes to provide personalized ability profiles. Retrofitting DCMs to large‐scale mathematics assessments usually relies on inferred Q‐matrices, which can reduce accuracy and diagnostic value.

Genetic Architecture of Addiction‐Relevant Behaviors in Outbred Sprague–Dawley Rats Reveals Loci for Anxiety‐Like and Nociceptive Traits

open access: yesGenes, Brain and Behavior, Volume 25, Issue 3, June 2026.
Genome‐wide association analyses in outbred Sprague–Dawleys identified loci for anxiety‐like and nociceptive behavior on chromosomes 1, 14, and 17, which are distinct from facets of exploratory locomotion significant in our GWAS of a F2 intercross of selectively bred high‐ and low‐responder (to a novel environment) Sprague–Dawleys.

The Modified Camassa–Holm Equation on the Half Line: A Riemann–Hilbert Approach

open access: yesStudies in Applied Mathematics, Volume 156, Issue 6, June 2026.
ABSTRACT We consider the initial‐boundary value (IBV) problem for the modified Camassa–Holm (mCH) equation m∼t+(u∼2−u∼x2+2u∼)m∼x=0,m∼:=u∼−u∼xx+1$\tilde{m}_t+{\left((\tilde{u}^2-\tilde{u}_x^2+2\tilde{u})\tilde{m}\right)}_x = 0, \qquad \tilde{m}:=\tilde{u}-\tilde{u}_{xx}+1$ on the half‐line x≥0$x \ge 0$.

Spatial depth for data in metric spaces

open access: yesScandinavian Journal of Statistics, Volume 53, Issue 2, Page 684-711, June 2026.
Abstract We propose a novel measure of statistical depth, the metric spatial depth, for data residing in an arbitrary metric space. The measure assigns high (low) values for points located near (far away from) the bulk of the data distribution, allowing quantifying their centrality/outlyingness.
