The invariants of the second symmetric power representation of SL_2(F_q) [PDF]
For a prime p>2 and q=p^n, we compute a finite generating set for the SL_2(F_q)-invariants of the second symmetric power representation, showing the invariants are a hypersurface and the field of fractions is a purely transcendental extension of the ...

Counterion Dependent Side‐Chain Relaxation Stiffens a Chemically Doped Thienothiophene Copolymer
Oxidation of a thienothiophene copolymer, p(g3TT‐T2), via different doping strategies and dopant molecules resulted in materials with similar oxidation levels and a high electrical conductivity of ≈100 S cm−1. However, mechanical properties varied significantly, with sub‐glass transition temperatures and elastic moduli spanning from –44°C to –3°C and ...

Jordan isomorphisms of upper triangular matrix rings
A bijective additive map of rings \(g\colon A\to B\) is a Jordan isomorphism if for all \(x,y\in A\), \(g(xy+yx)=g(x)g(y)+g(y)g(x)\). The authors generalize results in the literature that show when such a map is a ring isomorphism or anti-isomorphism. They consider a Jordan isomorphism \(g\colon S\to B\) for \(S\) the ring of upper triangular \(n\times

3D Printing Innovations in Polymeric Porous and Patterned Architecture
Polymeric foams occupy a unique structural space between dense solids and open networks, where engineered void fraction governs mechanical compliance, thermal resistance, and mass transport. Additive manufacturing now enables precise spatial control over cellular architecture, unlocking designer foam structures across applications spanning crash ...

An Introduction to i-Commutative Rings
In this paper, we introduce a new class of rings, called i-commutative rings, by extending the concept of commutative-like rings using idempotent elements.

Isomorphisms between strongly triangular matrix rings
We describe isomorphisms between strongly triangular matrix rings that were defined earlier in Berkenmeier et al. (2000) as ones having a complete set of triangulating idempotents, and we show that the so-called triangulating idempotents behave analogously to idempotents in semiperfect rings.

Hochschild Cohomology of Triangular Matrix Algebras [PDF]
We study the Hochschild cohomology of triangular matrix rings B=R0AMRA , where A and R are finite dimensional algebras over an algebraically closed field K and M is an A-R-bimodule.

An effective strategy is developed to overcome the medium temperatures wear resistance degradation in refractory multi‐principal element alloys. By utilizing chemical short‐range ordering to trigger oxygen‐induced amorphization, a composite oxide structure is formed, which combines high hardness with robust stiffness.

Matrix rings with summand intersection property [PDF]
summary:A ring $R$ has right SIP (SSP) if the intersection (sum) of two direct summands of $R$ is also a direct summand. We show that the right SIP (SSP) is the Morita invariant property.
