Orienting Triangulations [PDF]
AbstractWe prove that any triangulation of a surface different from the sphere and the projective plane admits an orientation without sinks such that every vertex has outdegree divisible by three. This confirms a conjecture of Barát and Thomassen and is a step toward a generalization of Schnyder woods to higher genus surfaces.

The title refers to triangulations of surfaces. Under this innocent title the authors touch on and sketch proofs of many nontrivial results spanning a number of areas of physics and mathematics. These include, besides elementary topology, gravity in two dimensions, number theory, algebraic curves, modular groups, hypergraphs, rational function fields ...

Triangle-based Horizontal Geodetic Datum Transformations in Bosnia and Herzegovina
The article describes the procedure for transformation between old and new horizontal geodetic datum in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Two triangle-based methods were used for transformation, which are based on irregular and regular triangular network.

Triangulated Spheres with Holes in Triangulated Surfaces [PDF]
Let $\mathbb{S}_h$ denote a sphere with $h$ holes. Given a triangulation $G$ of a surface $\mathbb{M}$, we consider the question of when $G$ contains a spanning subgraph $H$ such that $H$ is a triangulated $\mathbb{S}_h$. We give a new short proof of a theorem of Nevo and Tarabykin that every triangulation $G$ of the torus contains a spanning subgraph ...
