An Automated Triaxial Testing System Using a Simple Triaxial Cell for Soils
A triaxial testing system developed for testing soils under automatically controlled stress paths and strain paths is described. This system consists of a micro-computer and a pneumatic pressurizing system, together with a mechanically simple system consisting of an ordinary axial displacement-controlled loading frame and an ordinary triaxial cell ...

Grain Boundary Structure Ordering via Electroshock Treatment Enhances Strength‐Ductility Synergy
Electroshock treatment triggers atomic rearrangement, transforming disordered grain boundaries into ordered states without inducing recrystallization. This grain boundary ordering effectively relieves strain concentration and strengthens boundaries, enabling a simultaneous improvement in both strength and ductility.

A Two‐Stage Characterization Pipeline and Open‐Source Framework for Reproducible Tactile Sensing
The same soft tactile sensor returns different numbers when embodied in different robots. This is an Embodiment Gap that no shared framework currently captures transparently. A two‐stage characterization pipeline, paired with a FAIR open‐source digital datasheet, decouples intrinsic sensor behavior from embodiment effects and condenses cross‐laboratory

Triaxial Testing of Frozen Sand [PDF]
AbstractTriaxial testing of frozen saturated Ottawa sand under confined compression was carried out under hydrostatic pressures varying between 0.1 and 75 MPa at a temperature of -10°C and strain-rate 7.7×10-5s-1. Yield and failure stresses increased with increasing hydrostatic pressures up to about 40 MPa, beyond which the stresses dropped.
