An adhesive hydrogel depot with polyphenol‐armored nanogenes is developed for treating aged osteoarthritis. This system maintains miR‐140 bioactivity, prolongs its intra‐articular retention, and enhances transfection into chondrocytes, leading to the downregulation of senescence‐associated pathways.

Local stress concentration disrupts metabolic homeostasis and induces inflammation in the nucleus pulposus (NP), thereby accelerating intervertebral disc degeneration (IDD). A biomimetic HA/ChS hydrogel millimeter sphere (ChS@HM) is developed to enable synergistic stress dispersion and sustained hydration lubrication.

Tribological behaviour of ZA27/10SiC/1Gr hybrid composite [PDF]
The paper describes the tribological behaviour of a hybrid composite based on zincaluminium ZA27 alloy, reinforced with siliconcarbide (SiC) and graphite (Gr) particles. The composite specimen was prepared by compocasting technique.

Influence of Ink Composition on Tribological Properties of Ballpoint Pen
In this work, the influence of ink composition on the tribological properties of ballpoint pens has been examined with a view to improve writing smoothness and pen lifetime. Friction experiments were performed using a ball on plate tribometer in order to

High‐throughput quantum‐mechanical simulations reveal that amorphous carbon undergoes shear‐driven structural transformation into aromatic, graphene‐like interfaces. This mechanochemical process is governed by dopant chemistry: dopants with valency less than four promote the emergence of superlow‐friction amorphous graphene, whereas tetra‐valent ...

Taguchi optimization of tribological properties of Al/SiC/graphite composite [PDF]
Investigation of tribological behaviour of the hybrid composite, whose substrate is Al/Si alloy A356, reinforced with 10 wt. (%) of silicon carbide (SiC) and 0 and 5 wt. (%) of graphite (Gr) is presented in this paper by application of the Taguchi method.

A Piezo‐Mimetic Ionic Hydrogel Harnessing Joint Motion for Cartilage Repair
A piezo‐mimetic ionic hydrogel converts mechanical deformation into bioactive ionic currents via stress‐induced asymmetric ion migration. Coupled with sustained Mg2+ release, this mechano‐electrochemical platform bridges mechanical loading and cellular signaling, enabling load‐adaptive stimulation and enhanced cartilage regeneration. ABSTRACT Articular
