Is Trichogramma Becoming A Fad?
Journal of Economic Entomology, 1931Unless a conservative attitude is maintained biological control can easily become quackery. Some of the work with Trichogramma seems to be tending in this direction. It is pointed out that the control of pests by the use of Trichogramma is a complicated problem, and until this is fully appreciated there is little prospect of sound conclusions being ...

Behavior of Trichogramma in Field Liberations
Journal of Economic Entomology, 1932Trichogramma ( T. minutum ) liberated in a block of 121 trees without parasites dispersed in all directions and resulted in 50 per cent parasitism. One other orchard with low parasitism increased 53 per cent after a single liberation. A third orchard having high natural parasitism was not increased by large liberations.

Methods of Breeding Trichogramma in Connecticut
Journal of Economic Entomology, 1933Rearing Angoumois grain moths ( Sitotroga cerealella ) on wheat in 24 separate cages has been more satisfactory than when corn was used. Eight times as many eggs were obtained from wheat moths than from corn moths. Moth extraction is accomplished by a forced draft of air.
