The investigations evaluated the performance of the native parasitoid Exorista larvarum (L.) on last instar Cydalima perspectalis (Walker) larvae, using the factitious host Galleria mellonella (L.) as a control. Actia interrupta is an important larval tachinid parasitoid during low‐density populations of the eastern spruce budworm.
