Potential of Two Trichogrammatidae species for Helicoverpa armigera control

Neotropical Entomology, 2019
Helicoverpa armigera (Hübner) has attacked several economically important crops since it was first reported in Brazil in 2013. Because insecticides have been used intensively to control H. armigera, resistant populations have been detected more frequently.

Mitochondrial genome of Megaphragma amalphitanum (Hymenoptera: Trichogrammatidae)

Mitochondrial DNA Part A, 2015
The mitochondrial genome of the parasitic wasp Megaphragma amalphitanum is published in this paper. The mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) is 15 041 base pairs (bp) in length and contained 13 protein-coding genes, 2 rRNA genes and 22 tRNA genes. The overall base composition of the genome in descending order was 45.67% A, 8.71% C, 39.63% T and 5.99% G, with a ...

Topotypic Trichogramma minutum (Hymenoptera: Trichogrammatidae)

Annals of the Entomological Society of America, 1972
Riley (1871) described Trichogramma minutum (as minuta ) from specimens which he reared from viceroy, Limenitis archippus (Cramer) (reported as L. dissipus Godart), eggs collected from willow near Kirkwood, Mo. Enzymatic analysis of the genusTrichogramma (Hym.: Trichogrammatidae) in Europe

Entomophaga, 1993
The genusTrichogramma includes numerous species which parasitize primarily the eggs of Lepidoptera worldwide. Thirteen European species were characterized biochemically to improve the systematic basis of this genus. Three enzyme systems, studied by electrophoresis, provided characters which discriminate among species.
