ABSTRACT Jatropha curcas is a promising feedstock for biodiesel and bio‐jet fuels production; however, its seed yield is constrained by limited inflorescences. SPL9 is a member of the SBP‐box gene family that promotes the juvenile‐to‐adult phase transition.

ABSTRACT Plant viruses drive widespread crop epidemics, yet the host plant responses across different cell types, particularly how these responses are influenced by cultivars with varying genetic backgrounds, including the presence of resistance (R) genes, remain poorly understood. Using tomato brown rugose fruit virus (ToBRFV) and two tomato cultivars,

Xeromorphisam of trichomes in Lamiaceae species
The xeromorphic adaptation of epidermal cells of Lamiaceae plant leaves, the consequence of their adaptation to sn arid habitat, was investigated. These xerophytic species inhibit transpiration in different ways, depending on the number, the form and the position of trichomes, whether they are dead hairs or live glandular structures.

ABSTRACT Forward genetics has been instrumental in identifying genes underlying desirable traits, yet its application to polyploid plants, many of which are key agricultural crops, remains challenging due to their genomic complexity. Therefore, we developed BenthMap, a bulk segregant analysis platform for high‐throughput trait mapping and gene ...
