[Tentative classification of the nematodes Trichostrongyloidea (author's transl)].

Annales de parasitologie humaine et comparee, 1978
Taking into consideration the evolution of different characters, and mainly the evolutionary pattern of the "synlophe", we propose to divide the Trichostrongyloidea into 8 families: Ollulanidae, Dictyocaulidae, Strongylacanthidae, Amidostomatidae, Molineidae, Heligmosomidae, Heligmonellidae and Trichostrongylidae.

Similarities between species of the Ostertagiinae (Nematoda: Trichostrongyloidea) in relation to host-specificity and climatic environment

Systematic Parasitology, 1991
Multivariate analyses of similarities between species of the Ostertagiinae were performed on the data from 585 publications. The environmental factors were 12 climates and host-specificity in ruminants (40 species) for 16 species of ostertagiines. This approach can be a useful tool for distinguishing morphs from species.

The tail morphology of different developmental stages ofOllulanus tricuspis(Leuckart, 1865) (Nematoda: Trichostrongyloidea)

Journal of Helminthology, 1982
ABSTRACTIn a study of the morphology of the posterior ends ofO. tricuspis, it could firstly be recognized that not only the adult females but also the LII to LIV possess five cusps. They have apparently been partly overlooked by microscopic examination because of their appearance in different optical planes.

[Phylogeny of Trichostrongyloidea nematodes as seen through some of their vertebrate hosts].

Parassitologia, 1993
Reconstruction of the phylogenetic history of a parasitic group is clearly difficult due to a lack of fossil forms. Among the nematodes parasites of vertebrates, the superfamily Trichostrongyloidea is one of the richest groups in terms of number of species (more than 1000 described) and genera (175) and they therefore offer excellent opportunities to ...

[Coexistence of nematodes Trichostrongyloidea in marsupials from French Guyana (author's transl)].

Annales de parasitologie humaine et comparee, 1976
Analysis of the helminthofauna of two Didelphis marsupialis, compared to that of a Metachirops opossum from the same area, studied by Durette-Desset, 1974. Except for their similarities in the general repartition of the species, the two Marsupials are easily differentiated: the dominant species is not the same.
