Modification of De Vega's Tricuspid Annuloplasty for Experimental Tricuspid Regurgitation
Journal of Cardiac Surgery, 1994We propose a new experimental model of tricuspid annular dilatation and provide some modifications to De Vega's tricuspid annuloplasty to treat this condition. Tricuspid annular dilatation was done by creating ten 1.5-mm incisions around the circumference of the tricuspid annulus. The annulus became significantly dilated from 7.6 cm to 9.4 cm (p < 0.01)

[Selective tricuspid annuloplasty].
Zhonghua wai ke za zhi [Chinese journal of surgery], 1994Six cases of functional tricuspid regurgitation associated with rheumatic valvular disease were treated with selective tricuspid annuloplasty simultaneously with MVR or DVR from Sept. 1990 to Feb. 1993. New Technique of Tricuspid Annuloplasty
Asian Cardiovascular and Thoracic Annals, 2000This technique using only 3/0 polypropylene suture, provides reconstruction appropriate to the anatomy and physiopathology of functional tricuspid insufficiency. Problems such as the gliding effect, pannus formation, and infection, should be minimal. The technique was successfully applied in 3 patients.

2016Tricuspid ring annuloplasty is the most common technique of tricuspid valve repair with consistent reproducible results. It is indicated at the time of left sided heart valve surgery when tricuspid regurgitation is severe or when it is associated with tricuspid annular dilatation or raised pulmonary artery pressures.
