Tricuspid Valve Prolapse with Late Systolic Tricuspid Insufficiency

Radiology, 1973
Abstract The authors describe the angiographic findings in 2 cases of systolic prolapse of a normally positioned tricuspid valve with late systolic tricuspid insufficiency. If the findings suggest congenital mitral valve prolapse with systolic click and a late systolic murmur, both right and left ventricular injections are recommended.

Tricuspid valve repair via partial sternotomy for traumatic valve insufficiency

Asian Cardiovascular and Thoracic Annals, 2021
Tricuspid valve insufficiency rarely follows a blunt chest trauma. When the tricuspid valve is solely injured, the cardiac trauma may stay asymptomatic and tolerable, which often makes it difficult to determine the indication for surgery. We report a case of a patient with tricuspid regurgitation secondary to trauma due to a motorcycle accident.

Tricuspid Valve Steno-Insufficiency in Systemic Lupus Erythematosus

Lupus, 1995
We describe a case of isolated tricuspid steno-insufficiency, diagnosed by transthoracic echocardiography, in a 43-year-old woman affected by systemic lupus erythematosus. Other similar cases were never previously reported.

“Balloon valvulotomy” of congenital pulmonary valve stenosis with tricuspid valve insufficiency

Cardiovascular Radiology, 1979
The rare congenital anomaly of pulmonary valve stenosis and massive tricuspid valve insufficiency with intact ventricular septum is a lethal condition without reported survival after attempted treatment. In a neonate suffering from this syndrome, the pulmonary valve stenosis was relieved by rupturing the fused valve with a balloon catheter introduced ...

[Traumatic tricuspid valve insufficiency].

Ugeskrift for laeger, 1997
We report a case of tricuspid insufficiency in connection with blunt chest trauma. The patient was involved in a car accident. The central venous catheter showed a right ventricular pressure curve, suggestive of a tricuspid valve insufficiency. A transoesophageal echocardiographic examination supported this by revealing a papillary muscle rupture. This

Endocardial fibroelastosis and tricuspid valve insufficiency in a calf

Journal of the American Veterinary Medical Association, 1987
A 5-month-old Holstein heifer had clinical signs of tricuspid valve insufficiency and histopathologic evidence of endocardial fibroelastosis. The calf had a 3-week history of weight loss, abdominal distention, dyspnea, and decreased appetite. Physical examination revealed signs of right-sided heart failure, and a systolic murmur (II/VI) was heard best ...

Tricuspid valve insufficiency as a complication of endomyocardial biopsy

Transplant International, 1992
The purpose of this study was to investigate the occurrence of major tricuspid insufficiency caused by endomyocardial biopsy in heart transplant recipients. Endomyocardial biopsy was used for the detection of rejection and Doppler echocardiography was performed at regular intervals.

Traumatic tricuspid valve insufficiency: case report.

The Journal of heart valve disease, 2001
A 30-year old man underwent a head-on motor accident and was admitted to hospital, where he was successfully treated for several injuries. He was discharged home with slight tricuspid regurgitation, without signs of hemodynamic decompensation, and required no further treatment.

[Ultrasonic diagnosis of tricuspid valve insufficiency].

Kardiologiia, 1985
Twenty-nine patients were investigated in order to assess diagnostic possibilities of ultrasonic investigation with regard to tricuspid incompetence. Three highly specific and fairly sensitive criteria of trans-tricuspid regurgitation were identified in addition to a series of indirect echographic signs of tricuspid incompetence.
