Engineering the Immune Response to Biomaterials
This paper reviews immune responses to biomaterials, stages of evolution in relation to managing these responses ranging from preventing to modulating them. It also discusses state‐of‐the‐art strategies to modulate these responses and modes of their delivery.

Qualitative detection of oil adulteration with machine learning approaches [PDF]
The study focused on the machine learning analysis approaches to identify the adulteration of 9 kinds of edible oil qualitatively and answered the following three questions: Is the oil sample adulterant? How does it constitute? What is the main ingredient of the adulteration oil?

Diallyl trisulfides (DATs) selectively induce cuproptosis in hepatic stellate cells (HSCs) by targeting Ras‐related protein Rab‐18 (RAB18) and regulating lipophagy. DATs promote RAB18 phase separation, enhance mitochondrial‐associated membrane structures (MAMs) formation, and increase succinylation of dihydrolipoamide dehydrogenase (DLD) at K320.

A model is schematically represented for the major molecular mechanisms by which homocysteine (Hcy) accelerates the nuclear export of circ‐PIAS1‐5, which regulates atherosclerosis by acting as a competing endogenous RNA for miR‐219a‐2‐3p. Hcy enrichment of circ‐PIAS1‐5 leads to YTHDC1 binding to circ‐PIAS1‐5 and promotes its intracellular localization ...

Density Functional study on the transesterification of triacetin assisted by cooperative weak interactions via a gold heterogeneous catalyst: Insights into Biodiesel production mechanisms [PDF]
A Density Functional study predicting a heterogeneous-catalyzed reaction giving rise to biodiesel, was performed. Triacetin was used as a model of triglyceride in the presence of an Au(111) surface as the heterogeneous catalyst substrate. Explicit methoxy molecules were implemented as an alcohol solvent to understand the reaction trajectory along the ...

Aided by FABP5, abnormally elevated asprosin in hepatocytes enters the nucleus, targets and inhibits PPARα binding to the CPT1A promoter, thereby suppressing FAO. Circulating asprosin exacerbates insulin resistance, collectively driving MASLD progression.

Predictors and morphological properties of culprit healed plaques in patients with angina pectoris
Abstract Background Plaque healing may serve a vital function in the natural progression of atherosclerotic disease. This study sought to investigate predictors and morphological characteristics of healed plaque (HP) among angina pectoris (AP) patients.
