The Classification and Evolution of the Superfamily Lichacea (Trilobita)
Geological Magazine, 1957AbstractThe superfamily Lichacea is here considered to include two families : the Lichidae, composed of four subfamilies and twenty-four genera, and the Lichakephalidae, comprising only one species. The morphology, classification and evolution of the Trinucleidae (Trilobita)
Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society of London. B, Biological Sciences, 1975Abstract The morphology of the trinucleid exoskeleton is reassessed and various new structures and terms defined. On the basis of new interpretations of cephalic morphology, particularly that of the fringe, of all known genera, a new subfamilial classification is proposed.

Remarks on the phylogeny of some Phacopinae (Trilobita)
Senckenbergiana lethaea, 1998Based on studies of the morphology of skeletal parts involved in enrolment of some Phacopinae byBruton &Haas (1997), the phylogeny and systematics of some early genera of the subfamily are discussed here. The bulk of the later taxa from the Middle Devonian onwards are not considered.
