Learning Highly Dynamic Skills Transition for Quadruped Jumping Through Constrained Space
A quadruped robot masters dynamic jumps through constrained spaces with animal‐inspired moves and intelligent vision control. This hierarchical learning approach combines imitation of biological agility with real‐time trajectory planning. Although legged animals are capable of performing explosive motions while traversing confined spaces, replicating ...

Dual‐Array Nano Configuration for High‐Performance Metastable β Titanium Alloys
This work resolves a fundamental paradox in metastable alloys by establishing a novel dislocation‐phase coupling mechanism, enabling dynamic microstructure control for simultaneous thermal stability and deformability. Geometrically ordered α‐nanograins achieve unprecedented 500°C strength‐ductility synergy (863 MPa UTS, 78.3% elongation).

Ternary Mg-Sc-based TRIP alloys: Design strategy based on Sc-equivalent
This study addresses the transformation-induced plasticity (TRIP) effect observed in bcc single-phase Mg–Sc alloys, aiming to circumvent the strength-ductility tradeoff inherent in traditional Mg-based alloys.

Managing the effect of TRIPs on availability of priority vaccines
The stated purpose of intellectual property protection is to stimulate innovation. The Agreement on Trade-Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights (TRIPS) requires all Members of the World Trade Organization (WTO) to enact national laws conferring minimum standards of intellectual property protection by certain deadlines.

A computationally designed, cobalt‐free maraging steel tailored for additive manufacturing achieves an ultra‐high tensile strength of 2.3 GPa with 5.7% elongation. This exceptional strength‐ductility synergy stems from high‐density core‐shell Ni3Ti/NiAl nanoprecipitates, a crack‐resistant composition, and a fine equiaxed grain structure enabled by ...

Understanding trip happiness—a measurement of people’s emotional well-being during trips—is an essential aspect of people-oriented transportation planning. We use data collected via smartphones from 350 residents in the Minneapolis-St. Paul region to examine trip- and person-level factors associated with trip happiness.
