Study of Statistical Convergence of Triple Sequences in a Topological Space

open access: yesRevista Ingeniería, Matemáticas y Ciencias de la Información
In this paper, we introduce statistical convergence of triple sequences which are defined in a topological space. Various results on statistically convergent triple sequences are produced by using the notion of triple natural density operator.

Patterns in Inversion Sequences II: Inversion Sequences Avoiding Triples of Relations

open access: yesJ. Integer Seq., 2016
Inversion sequences of length $n$, $\mathbf{I}_n$, are integer sequences $(e_1, \ldots, e_n)$ with $0 \leq e_i < n$ for each $i$. The study of patterns in inversion sequences was initiated recently by Mansour-Shattuck and Corteel-Martinez-Savage-Weselcouch through a systematic study of inversion sequences avoiding words of length 3. We continue this

Triple-Helical DNA in Drosophila Heterochromatin

open access: yesCells, 2018
Polynucleotide chains obeying Watson-Crick pairing are apt to form non-canonical complexes such as triple-helical nucleic acids. From early characterization in vitro, their occurrence in vivo has been strengthened by increasing evidence, although most ...

Generalized Beatty sequences and complementary triples [PDF]

open access: yesMoscow Journal of Combinatorics and Number Theory, 2019
A generalized Beatty sequence is a sequence $V$ defined by $V(n)=p\lfloor{nα}\rfloor+qn +r$, for $n=1,2,\dots$, where $α$ is a real number, and $p,q,r$ are integers. These occur in several problems, as for instance in homomorphic embeddings of Sturmian languages in the integers.

NEW NOTIONS OF ROUGH STATISTICAL CONVERGENCE OF TRIPLE SEQUENCES IN GRADUAL NORMED LINEAR SPACES

open access: yes, 2023
In the present article, we introduce and investigate the concept of statistical convergence for triple sequences in gradual normed linear spaces. We prove some of its fundamental properties and a few implication relations.

Spatiotemporal and quantitative analyses of phosphoinositides – fluorescent probe—and mass spectrometry‐based approaches

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Fluorescent probes allow dynamic visualization of phosphoinositides in living cells (left), whereas mass spectrometry provides high‐sensitivity, isomer‐resolved quantitation (right). Their synergistic use captures complementary aspects of lipid signaling. This review illustrates how these approaches reveal the spatiotemporal regulation and quantitative

A novel dual-plasmid platform provides scalable transfection yielding improved productivity and packaging across multiple AAV serotypes and genomes

open access: yesMolecular Therapy: Methods & Clinical Development, 2023
Transient transfection of mammalian cells using plasmid DNA is a standard method to produce adeno-associated virus (AAV) vectors allowing for flexible and scalable manufacture.

Structural instability impairs function of the UDP‐xylose synthase 1 Ile181Asn variant associated with short‐stature genetic syndrome in humans

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
The Ile181Asn variant of human UDP‐xylose synthase (hUXS1), associated with a short‐stature genetic syndrome, has previously been reported as inactive. Our findings demonstrate that Ile181Asn‐hUXS1 retains catalytic activity similar to the wild‐type but exhibits reduced stability, a looser oligomeric state, and an increased tendency to precipitate ...

Primary synovial sarcoma of the shoulder: Case report of the “triple sign” on proton density magnetic resonance imaging

open access: yesRadiology Case Reports, 2023
The first case of synovial sarcoma was published in 1893. The disease is a type of primary malignancy of the soft tissues. It is a rare and aggressive neoplasm of unknown tissue origin, characterized by strong metastatic potential and poor prognosis. The
