A 141-GHz Integrated Quasi-Optical Slot Antenna Tripler

open access: yes, 1999
We present a quasi-optical frequency tripler with heterostructure barrier varactor (HBV) diodes soldered across two slot antennas and located at the focal plane of a dielectric lens.

A novel quinazolinone insulin receptor inhibitor and its synergy with an EGFR inhibitor in glucose‐driven glioblastoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The novel styrylquinazolinone‐based molecule W1B effectively suppresses glioblastoma by inhibiting IGF1R and EGFR. In high‐glucose microenvironments driving tumor resistance, W1B acts synergistically with the EGFR inhibitor dacomitinib. This combination safely blocks compensatory survival signaling in zebrafish xenograft models. Showcasing promising in

Oncogenic DMTF1β promotes cancer cell motility by regulating autophagy through ULK1 stabilization

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In the current study, we demonstrate that the oncogene DMTF1β regulates ULK1 stability by reducing its proteasomal degradation in cancer cells. This stabilization enables ULK1 to induce autophagy, which in turn facilitates cancer cell migration. Consequently, reduced DMTF1β levels lead to decreased autophagy and impaired cancer cell migration.

Prospective Evaluation of Range of Motion in Acute ACL Reconstruction Using Patellar Tendon Autograft

open access: yesOrthopaedic Journal of Sports Medicine, 2019
Background: Optimal timing of anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction has been a topic of controversy. Reconstruction has historically been delayed for at least 3 weeks, given previous studies reporting a high risk of postoperative arthrofibrosis

Liquid biopsy‐based diagnostic evaluation of hypermethylated CpG sites for ovarian cancer diagnosis

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This schematic outlines the workflow from biomarker identification to duplex MethyLight assay validation for epithelial ovarian cancer diagnosis using cfDNA‐based liquid biopsy. Initial screening of hypermethylated CpG candidates (cg02957270, cg10061138 cg00480298, COL2A1) was performed in tissue using ARMS‐PCR, COBRA, qPCR and image analysis. Selected

A W-band GCPW MMIC Diode Tripler [PDF]

open access: yes, 2002
A W-band GCPW (grounded coplanar waveguide) MMIC diode tripler using GaAs PHEMT process is developed. An anti-parallel diode pair is used to produce third harmonic signal and a GCPW band pass filter is used to reject the spurious signal.

High power W-band monolithically integrated tripler

open access: yes, 2009
We have designed, fabricated and characterized a Heterostructure Barrier Varactor based monolithic tripler at 97 GHz. The original InP host substrate is used as the microstrip waveguide.

Patient therapy outcome modeling in cancer organoids is improved by cancer‐associated fibroblasts and organoid assembly convolution

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Patient‐derived organoids (PDOs) from pancreatic, colorectal, and gastric cancers were used to evaluate standard and experimental therapies. Incorporating cancer‐associated fibroblasts (CAFs) into organoid cultures improved patient therapy outcome prediction.
