TRITIUM TRANSFER AND CONCENTRATION IN THE OCEAN [PDF]

open access: yes, 2004
Environmental transport models have been developed for evaluation of radiation doses from tritium released into the atmosphere. Recently, models contain not only inhalation and skin absorption as routes of tritium transfer from the atmosphere to humans ...

Response of an Infant With Presumed Multiple Acyl‐CoA Dehydrogenase Deficiency (MADD) to Ketone Supplementation

open access: yesAmerican Journal of Medical Genetics Part A, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Multiple Acyl‐CoA Dehydrogenase Deficiency (MADD) is an autosomal recessive inborn error of metabolism caused by biallelic pathogenic variants in one of three known genes: ETFA, ETFB, and ETFDH. It can cause multisystem dysfunction, including cardiomyopathy in severe cases.

Study on emergency ventilation optimization method for tritium leakage accident of high-pressure storage vessel

open access: yesAIP Advances, 2022
In the process of tritium storage, the high-pressure storage vessel may be damaged due to accidental conditions, such as impact or drop, which results in tritium leakage.

Organically bound tritium in sediments from the Severn Estuary, UK [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
Amersham plc, now GE Healthcare, has discharged both organically bound tritium (OBT) and tritiated water (HTO) into the Severn estuary since 1981. The OBT component of these discharges results in elevated tritium (3H) activities in the sediments and ...

Tritium-titanium target degradation due to deuterium irradiation for DT neutron production

open access: yesNuclear Fusion, 2023
In the present article, we have investigated tritium removal from tritium-titanium targets during fusion neutron production and the impact of tritium degradation on neutron production. The removal of tritium from the target is predicted for deuterium ion

Neue Einblicke in ein Schlüsselmaterial für Planetenphysik, Fusion und Materialforschung: Flüssiger Kohlenstoff

open access: yesPhysik in unserer Zeit, EarlyView.

Hydrogen Bonding in Graphene

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
The hydrogen concentration and binding energies in large area graphene are determined from effusion measurements. The samples are grown using chemical vapor deposition using deuterated methane and deuterium as readily identifiable isotopes. Total hydrogen concentrations of 1.2 ‐ 6.9 × 1013 cm−2 are obtained.
