Tenuipalpidae (Acari: Trombidiformes) from Casuarinaceae (Fagales)
Zootaxa, 2014The Tenuipalpidae associated with the Casuarinaceae are reviewed, including one new genus, Palpipalpus gen. nov., twelve new species, and seven redescriptions. Two new generic records for Australia are established, Pentamerismus and Philippipalpus. The new species are: Chaudhripalpus costacola Beard and Seeman sp.

Evolution of phytophagy in trombidiform mites
Experimental & Applied Acarology, 1999This paper reviews the evolutionary aspects of obligate phytophagy (excluding mycophagy and phycophagy) in the mite suborder Trombidiformes. Phytophagy in the other acariform suborder, Sarcoptiformes, is limited to just a few species, amidst otherwise saprophagous or fungivorous taxa, that attack the living tissues of higher plants.

Numerous trombidiform mites have been elucidated for their morphological features and mitochondrial (mt) genomes. However, the mitochondrial genomes of Spinibdella lignicola has never been described yet. In this study, we accounted for the morphological characteristics and complete mitochondrial genome of S.
