Lung Cancer Brain Metastasis: Brain Microenvironmental Adaptation, Therapeutic Resistance and Translational Strategies

open access: yesCancer Science, EarlyView.
Lung cancer brain metastasis is shaped by dynamic crosstalk among tumor cells, the blood–brain barrier, glial and immune cells, neurons, and metabolic niches. This review integrates these mechanisms with therapeutic resistance, translational models, CNS delivery, and multidisciplinary treatment strategies.

Coinvasional disruptions to island pollinator networks

open access: yesConservation Biology, EarlyView.
Abstract Biological invasions can adversely affect pollinator diversity by threatening the maintenance of animal‐pollinated plant communities. Although most studies have examined single invasive species, accelerating species introductions driven by global trade highlight the need to understand how multiple co‐occurring invaders jointly influence ...

Real‐World Evidence for Existing Anti‐Obesity Therapies—The Realities of Treatment Adherence, Tolerability, Access and Patient Satisfaction

open access: yesDiabetes, Obesity and Metabolism, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Obesity is associated with substantial cardiometabolic and psychosocial morbidity. Although randomized controlled trials demonstrate the efficacy of anti‐obesity therapies, outcomes in real‐world practice may be attenuated due to limited access, tolerability, adherence and insufficient long‐term support.

Forest edges buffer effects of agricultural management on bee–plant interaction networks

open access: yesEcological Entomology, EarlyView.
Agricultural management effects: Organic and conventional crop margins host similar bee and plant species, but network structure differs: organic farms exhibit higher interaction diversity, conventional farms higher connectance. Role of forest edges: Native forest edges stabilize bee–plant networks by providing continuous floral resources and suitable ...

Social bees can enhance the persistence of plant–bee interactions during seasonal changes in seasonally dry tropical forests

open access: yesEcological Entomology, EarlyView.
Social bees, especially Meliponini, formed a persistent core that maintained plant–bee interactions across both dry and green seasons in the Caatinga. Persistence was not linked to broader diets; social bees used fewer plant species, despite availability, indicating selective tracking of temporally concentrated floral resources.
