Estimation of tropospheric time delay for Indian LAAS
2013 International Conference on Emerging Trends in VLSI, Embedded System, Nano Electronics and Telecommunication System (ICEVENT), 2013In LAAS with airport pseudolites (APLs), error introduced in the signals due to tropospheric time delay proves to be the largest in pseudolite error budget. In this paper, tropospheric delay (TD) is estimated using Hopfield model and RTCA model for a typical LAAS scenario. Hopfield model is used to estimate delay in GPS signal and RTCA model is used to

Analysis of Regional Distribution and Change of Tropospheric Delay
Applied Mechanics and Materials, 2014In this article, data of stations distributed over China was used to calculate tropospheric delay. The result was compared with the tropospheric zenith delay calculated from model. The rules and Characteristic of tropospheric delay over China was analyzed from the aspect of altitude, climate, and change.

Estimation of Tropospheric Delay Models Compliance
2008Tropospheric delay can be a significant source of error for satellite-based positioning systems, if it is not properly estimated. Two basic types of delay prediction models exist. The first use surface meteorological parameters to estimate the magnitude of the tropospheric delay, and the other global models use average and seasonal variation data.

An improved fitting model of the regional tropospheric delay
2012 5th International Congress on Image and Signal Processing, 2012Tropospheric delay errors, as the main error source of the continuous operating reference station system(short for CORS), must be corrected in high-precision positioning. In this article, several high precision fitting models are introduced, and their accuracy in different conditions is compared and analyzed.

Fast tropospheric delay predictions for antenna height diversity
IEEE Transactions on Communications, 1997Terrestrial microwave links sometimes suffer from signal fading which may be relieved with antenna diversity or frequency diversity. Vertical spacing of the antennas has been known empirically to offer performance gains for many links. A fast new method for tropospheric delay predictions is discussed. It uses Mathematica for critical functional fits to

Abstract Satellite navigation systems face different types of errors that affect the positioning accuracy. The tropospheric delay considers one of the major sources of error for the transmitted signal that could face a tropospheric delay of over 2 m at zenith and 20 m at lower satellite elevation angles. A positioning error of 10 m could

Tropospheric Delay from VLBI and GNSS Measurements
Astronomy Letters, 2018Using an updated version of the QUASAR software package developed at the Institute of Applied Astronomy of the Russian Academy of Sciences, we have processed the VLBI observations within the international CONT14 program (May 6–20, 2014), in which a global network of 17 stations was involved (a total of ~250 000 observations).
