Development of a Three‐Axis Planar Hall Magnetoresistance Sensor Using a Superparamagnetic Nanoparticle‐Based Flux Guide

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A printed superparamagnetic nanoparticle‐based flux guide enables the realization of a hysteresis‐free three‐axis magnetic sensor. This innovative architecture efficiently redirects out‐of‐plane fields to planar sensing elements, facilitating simultaneous vector detection without complex reset protocols.

Efficient Online Tests for True Random Number Generators [PDF]

open access: yes, 2001
General problems and difficulties are discussed which have to be considered when testing true random numbers. Requirements are formulated which appropriate online tests should fulfill. Then we propose an online test procedure which meets these requirements.

Is It Real Type‐II or S‐Scheme? A Three‐Phase Diagnostic Protocol for Identifying Potentially Mislabeled Heterojunction Photocatalysts

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Diagnostic analysis via the heterojunction validation funnel. The funnel illustrates the hierarchical stratification of 30 reported Type‐II systems based on the three‐phase, seven‐step diagnostic framework. Complete validation through all phases is achieved by only 3.3% of systems, while 96.7% lack full mechanistic validation, revealing a pervasive ...

FPGA VENDOR AGNOSTIC TRUE RANDOM NUMBER GENERATOR

open access: yes, 2008
This paper describes a solution for the generation of true random numbers in a purely digital fashion; making it suitable for any FPGA type, because no FPGA vendor specific features (e.g., like phase-locked loop) or external analog components are ...
