Acceptance sampling plan based on truncated life tests for exponentiated fréchet distribution
Journal of Statistics and Management Systems, 2013Abstract In this paper, exponentiated Frechet distribution is considered as a model for a life time random variable when the life test is truncated at a pre-assigned time. The operating characteristic functions values of the suggested sampling plans and the corresponding producer's risk are obtained.

SOME RESULTS ON TRUNCATED LIFE TESTS IN THE EXPONENTIAL CASE
1953Abstract : Life tests are considered which are truncated so that n items a re placed on test; an advance decision requires that the experiment be terminated at min (X sub r sub o, sub n, T sub o), where X sub r sub o, sub n is a random variable equal to the time at which the r sub o 'th failure occurs and T sub o is a truncation time beyond which the ...

A group acceptance sampling plan for truncated life test having Weibull distribution
Journal of Applied Statistics, 2009In this paper, a group acceptance sampling plan for a truncated life test is proposed when a multiple number of items as a group can be tested simultaneously in a tester, assuming that the lifetime of a product follows the Weibull distribution with a known shape parameter.

SAMPLING PLANS BASED ON TRUNCATED LIFE TEST FOR LOGISTIC FAMILY OF DISTRIBUTIONS
2023In this article, we develops optimal sample size for acceptance number (zero and one) for single and double sampling plans by fixing consumer’s risk and test completion time, with the assumption that, the life of the item follows logistic family of distributions (i.e.

Acceptance sampling plans based on truncated life tests for LOG-EIG distribution
2016 IEEE International Conference on Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management (IEEM), 2016In the article, the plans of acceptance sampling for log-EIG distribution are established while the lifetime test is truncated at the pre-assigned time. The smallest size of sample to guarantee the provided median lifetime, the operating characteristic functional value of the plans and the risk of the producer are given.

ACCEPTANCE SAMPLING PLAN BASED ON TRUNCATED LIFE TESTS FOR RAYLEIGH DISTRIBUTION
This paper addresses the problem of designing an acceptance sampling plan for a truncated life test where the lifetime of the product follows a generalized Rayleigh distribution. The study identifies the minimum sample sizes needed to ensure the specified mean life for various acceptance numbers, confidence levels, and ratios of the fixed experiment ...C. Geetha +2 more

Acceptance sampling plans from truncated life test based on Tsallis q-exponential distribution
Journal of Applied Statistics, 2019In this study, we propose a new single acceptance sampling plan from truncated life test assuming that the quality characteristics follow the Tsallis q-exponential distribution. The proposed plan is given, and then we derived the operation characteristics function and calculate the optimal sample size and producer''s risk for some given parameter ...

Methods for Fitting the Right‐Truncated Weibull Distribution to Life‐Test and Survival Data
Biometrical Journal, 1988AbstractThis paper develops mathematical and computational methods for fitting, by the method of maximum likelihood (ML), the two‐parameter, right‐truncated Weibull distribution (RTWD) to life‐test or survival data. Some important statistical properties of the RTWD are derived and ML estimating equations for the scale and shape parameters of the RTWD ...
