Biophysical Journal, 2011 Triatoma virus (TrV) is a member of the insect virus family Dicistroviridae, a family similar to the vertebrate picornaviruses. TrV virions consist of a non-enveloped capsid that encloses the viral genome, a molecule of linear positive sense single-stranded RNA of about 9000 bases.
