Dogs are major reservoirs of Trypanosoma cruzi in Texas, United States. This study evaluated a novel Tc‐24 recombinant antigen ELISA for the serologic detection of Chagas disease in dogs and found it to have high sensitivity and specificity compared to existing commercial tests.
