Duplex RT-PCR assay for simultaneous detection of TSWV and CSVd in chrysanthemum

Journal of Virological Methods, 2019
A novel duplex RT-PCR assay for simultaneous detection of TSWV and CSVd in chrysanthemums was developed. Previous reported primers for amplification of TSWV and CSVd were used and a novel pair of primers for CSVd was designed to improve duplex amplification compatibility.

Discovery of Novel Chromone Derivatives as Potential Anti-TSWV Agents

Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry, 2021
A series of novel chromone derivatives containing dithioacetals were prepared, and their antiviral activity against tomato spotted wilt virus (TSWV) was studied. The results showed that compounds A1-A31 had good inhibitory activity against TSWV. The 3D-QSAR model was built to analyze the structure-activity relationship of the compounds.

TRANSGENIC PLANTS EXPRESSING A SINGLE-CHAIN FV ANTIBODY TO TOMATO SPOTTED WILT VIRUS (TSWV) ARE RESISTANT TO TSWV SYSTEMIC INFECTION

Acta Horticulturae, 2006
Hybridoma cell lines secreting monoclonal antibodies to TSWV were characterized, and one cell line was selected for cloning of the antibody genes. Universal degenerate oligonucleotides were designed to prime PCR amplification of the variable regions of the heavy and light chains of a monoclonal antibody.

The N protein of Tomato spotted wilt virus (TSWV) is associated with the induction of programmed cell death (PCD) in Capsicum chinense plants, a hypersensitive host to TSWV infection

Virus Research, 2008
In sweet pepper, the Tsw gene, originally described in Capsicum chinense, has been widely used as an efficient gene for inducing a hypersensitivity response (HR) derived Tomato spotted wilt virus (TSWV) resistance. Since previously reported studies suggested that the TSWV-S RNA mutation(s) are associated with the breakdown of Tsw mediated TSWV ...

Stephanotis floribunda infetta da TSWV in Liguria.

2009
