Study on the automatic detection of pepper TSWV disease based on ResNet
Theoretical and Natural Science, 2023This study focuses on the development of a binary classification model for Tomato Spotted Wilt Virus (TSWV) recognition in peppers. A diverse dataset is created for model training, which incorporates TSWV-infected pepper imagery with varying infection severity and regions of different sizes and resolution.

The molecular population genetics of the Tomato spotted wilt virus (TSWV) genome
Molecular Ecology, 2004AbstractRNA viruses are characterized by high genetic variability resulting in rapid adaptation to new or resistant hosts. Research for plant RNA virus genetic structure and its variability has been relatively scarce compared to abundant research done for human and animal RNA viruses.

Tomato spotted wilt virus (TSWV) infection of Physcomitrella patens gametophores
Plant Cell, Tissue and Organ Culture, 2003Following mechanical inoculation of the moss Physcomitrella patens (Hedw.) B.S.G. with Tomato spotted wilt virus (TSWV), the virus encoded N nucleocapsid protein was detected in gametophores harvested 11 and 29 dpi and the non-structural NSm movement protein was observed 29 dpi. The detection of both viral proteins presumes that P.

Occurrence of Tomato spotted wilt virus (TSWV) in Jordan
EPPO Bulletin, 2006Tomato spotted wilt virus was recorded for the first time in Jordan on tomato plants. Severe disease symptoms were observed in different tomato farms in the Jordan Valley. Using a specific primer pair a fragment of the capsid protein gene of the virus has been amplified by RT‐PCR and IC‐RT‐PCR.

Assesment of potential anti-TSWV stilbene compounds by molecular docking and cladistic analysis
Functional Plant BiologyTomato spotted wilt virus (TSWV) is a formidable plant pathogen, inflicting severe economic losses in agriculture due to its broad host range and insect vector transmission. In this study, TSWV was identified in tomato plants in Muş province, Turkey, using molecular methods, and its coat protein (CP) gene was sequenced.
