New severe outbreaks of tomato spotted wilt virus (TSWV) were observed in tomato and pepper crops in some horticultural areas of Southern Italy (Basilicata and Apulia). La margherita africana (African daisy; Arctotis x hybrida, famiglia delle Asteraceae) è un’erbacea perenne tappezzante originaria dell’Africa meridionale la cui altezza può raggiungere i 60-70 cm. E’ una pianta apprezzata per la fioritura non solo vivace ma anche prolungata, molto adatta per creare bordure ed aiuole.
