Risk Analysis of Tubing Hanger Installation Operation Based on T-S Fuzzy Fault Tree

open access: yesShiyou jixie, 2017
To address the lack of fault data, the uncertainty connection of the failure mechanism and the events, and the problem of the applicability of traditional Boolean logic gates in the risk analysis of the tubing hanger installation operation, a new ...

Measurement of wellbore leakage in high‐pressure gas well based on the multiple physical signals and history data: Method, technology, and application

open access: yesEnergy Science & Engineering
Leakage is one of the most serious challenges for the safe production of high‐pressure gas wells for its high risks, including abnormal annular pressure, natural gas accumulation, and environment pollution, but available methods can hardly accurately ...

A Proof‐of‐Concept Assessment of a Novel Wearable Eyelid Muscle Device: A Pre‐Clinical Animal Cadaver Study for Eyelid Closure Restoration

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
This article introduces a soft wearable eyelid sling device incorporating a hydraulic soft artificial muscle (SAM) for achieving complete closure of an eyelid. The SAM is driven by a cam mechanism that provides a displacement profile closely matched with those of a healthy eyelid.

Application of Mudline Tubing Hanger in Dry Tree Well on TLP Platform

open access: yesShiyou jixie, 2018
Reducing the tension of the TTR riser of the TLP platform could help to reduce the platform load and size. The overall and local tension force analyses of the TTR system indicate that the gravity of the TTR riser does not affect the top tension of the ...

Enabling Real‐Time Shape‐Sensing in Soft Robots via a Miniaturized, Single‐Signal, Color‐Tuned Soft Optical Sensor

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
A miniaturized soft optical sensor that uses thin film color tuning enables real‐time 3D shape‐sensing from a single red–green–blue (RGB) signal. When integrated into a soft robot, it enables closed‐loop control and autonomous navigation in a phantom lung environment without the need for onboard electronics, achieving sub‐millimeter accuracy through ...

Automation Process for Morphometric Analysis of Volumetric CT Data from Pulmonary Vasculature in Rats [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
With advances in medical imaging scanners, it has become commonplace to generate large multidimensional datasets. These datasets require tools for a rapid, thorough analysis. To address this need, we have developed an automated algorithm for morphometric

ChicGrasp: Imitation‐Learning‐Based Customized Dual‐Jaw Gripper Control for Manipulation of Delicate, Irregular Bio‐Products

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
Automated poultry processing lines still rely on humans to lift slippery, easily bruised carcasses onto a shackle conveyor. Deformability, anatomical variance, and hygiene rules make conventional suction and scripted motions unreliable. We present ChicGrasp, an end‐to‐end hardware‐software co‐designed imitation learning framework, to offer a ...

Disengaging the Engine: Histone Deacetylases 1 and 2‐Mediated Acetylation of Hexokinase‐2 Regulates Energy Metabolism in Microglia Following Intracerebral Hemorrhage

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study demonstrates that HDAC1/2 knockout in microglia alleviates neurological deficits, preserves white matter, and accelerates hematoma clearance after ICH. HDAC1/2 inhibition reduces HK2 acetylation, shifts metabolism from glycolysis to fatty acid oxidation, reduces inflammation, and enhances phagocytosis.
