Tumefactive demyelination as the first presentation of MOG ab-associated disease.
Journal of NeuroimmunologyTumefactive demyelination is a rare but clinically significant manifestation of myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein antibody-associated disease (MOGAD), often posing diagnostic challenges due to its resemblance to neoplastic lesions.

Pediatric Neurology
BACKGROUND Isolated tumefactive demyelinating lesions (≥2 cm) may be difficult to distinguish from contrast-enhancing brain tumors, central nervous system infections, and (rarely) tissue dysgenesis, which may all occur with increased signal on T2 ...

Radiology-pathology correlation: Giant tumefactive perivascular spaces
The Neuroradiology JournalDilated perivascular spaces (PVSs) are common and easily recognized on imaging. However, rarer giant tumefactive PVSs (GTPVSs) can have unusual multilocular cystic configurations, and are often confused for other pathologic entities, including neoplasms,

Relapsing tumefactive demyelination lesions: A unique, distinct inflammatory brain pathology
Multiple SclerosisWe report the case of a patient suffering from biopsy-proven relapsing tumefactive demyelinating lesions (TDLs) of the central nervous system who had five relapses in 16 years.

The Journal of the Association of Physicians of India, 2009
We present a case of 22 year old female who had pulmonary tuberculosis followed by tuberculous meningitis and tuberculomas in past. This time she presented to us with right hemiparesis and altered sensorium. Diagnosis of tumefactive demyelination was made on the basis of typical MRI findings. Patient showed good response to steroids.

Mesenteric tumefactions comprise a group of non-neoplastic conditions that present as an intra-abdominal mass. Symptoms vary from none to obstruction of the gastrointestinal tract. Histologic examination reveals dystrophy, fibrosis, or inflammation of the mesenteric fat.

Sonography of tumefactive biliary sludge
American Journal of Roentgenology, 1982Five patients with low-amplitude echoes taking the shape of a mass within the lumen of their gallbladders are reported. Disappearance of the mass on repeat examination in four cases and surgical proof in the fifth case established that the finding was a pseudotumor due to a collection of sludge.
