Citrus aurantium honey‐mediated gut homeostasis and anti‐inflammation via Thorl/Nprl2‐TORC1 signaling: Network pharmacology and Drosophila validation

open access: yesAnimal Models and Experimental Medicine, EarlyView.
The study employed a four‐tiered strategy: (1) UHPLC‐FTMS profiling of Citrus aurantium honey to characterize its chemical composition; (2) network pharmacology analysis integrating target prediction, protein–protein interaction networks, and KEGG pathway enrichment to identify the Thor1/Nprl2‐TORC1 axis as a key mechanistic pathway; (3) in vitro ...

Hyperacute Interleukin‐1β Production and Neutrophil Extracellular Trap Formation in the Cerebral Circulation of Stroke Patients with Large Vessel Occlusion

open access: yesAnnals of Neurology, EarlyView.
Acute ischemic stroke due to large vessel occlusion is associated with rapid intravascular immune activation. Analysis of arterial blood sampled distal to the thrombus during mechanical thrombectomy revealed increased extracellular adenosine triphosphate (ATP) and interleukin‐1β (IL‐1β) levels, evidence of inflammasome priming in monocytes, and ...

Tumor lysis syndrome and mediastinal mass

open access: yesJournal of Pediatric Critical Care
Tumor lysis syndrome is triggered by rapid malignant cell destruction following chemotherapy, immunotherapy, or radiation and is usually seen in leukemias and lymphomas.

Severe acute tumor lysis syndrome in patients with germ-cell tumors

open access: yesIndian Journal of Urology, 2008
Germ-cell tumors are a high-proliferative type of cancer that may evolve to significant bulky disease. Tumor lysis syndrome is rarely reported in this setting.

Tumor lysis syndrome following trastuzumab and pertuzumab for metastatic breast cancer: a case report.

open access: yes, 2016
Tumor lysis syndrome is a rare and potentially fatal complication of oncologic treatments, especially in solid tumors. To the best of our knowledge, tumor lysis syndrome has never been reported after trastuzumab and pertuzumab combination therapy ...

A Rare RIPK3 Variant Enhances Necroptosis and Promotes Inflammation in a Still Disease–Like Autoinflammatory Syndrome

open access: yesArthritis &Rheumatology, EarlyView.
Objective Still disease represents a prototypical polygenic systemic autoinflammatory disease, characterized by recurrent systemic inflammation and dysregulation of innate immunity. Despite extensive clinical characterization, familial clustering Still disease remains unreported.

Spontaneous tumor lysis syndrome in a patient with newly diagnosed metastatic colonic adenocarcinoma

open access: yes, 2017
Acute tumor lysis syndrome in the absence of cytotoxic therapy is an uncommon event but has been reported with hematologic malignancies. The case described below illustrates spontaneous tumor lysis syndrome in the context of a rapidly proliferating ...

Efficacy, safety and cost‐effectiveness of CAR‐T therapy

open access: yesBritish Journal of Clinical Pharmacology, EarlyView.
CAR T‐cells demonstrate high efficacy in blood cancers, including ALL, MM and DLBCL. Innovations target solid tumours despite challenges such as antigen escape. Combination therapies enhance the delivery and infiltration of CAR T cells. Toxicity, cost and resistance remain major barriers to clinical use.

Acute tumor lysis syndrome after transcatheter chemoembolization of hepatocellular carcinoma

open access: yes, 1998
Two cases of acute tumor lysis syndrome occurring in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma are reported. Both patients were treated with transcatheter chemoembolization.
