Concept for Continuously Tunable Output Filters for Digital Transmitter Architectures
This paper presents a novel output filter approach for continuously frequency-tunable digital power amplifiers, suitable for future seamless and band-less applications in 5G, e.g. for cognitive radios (CR). The presented tunable output filter is based on

Surface Plasmon Enhanced Photoluminescence of Carbon Dots Formed In Situ on Silver Gratings
Carbon emitters formed in situ on a silver grating via plasmonic catalysis yield enhanced spontaneous emission by preferential radiative decay into surface plasmons. Enhancement manifests as emission exhibiting characteristics of coherence (polarization, directionality), and accelerated lifetimes of ∼30 ps, yielding Purcell factors of ∼70.

Highly Versatile Real‐Time Optical Noise Filtering Through Temporal Cloaking
Conventional bandpass filtering strategies may be insufficient for recovering optical waveforms under extremely noisy conditions. We demonstrate a temporal‐cloaking denoising strategy enabled by the temporal Talbot effect, which concentrates the coherent signal of interest into short temporal slots while broadband noise remains temporally spread.

A compact and low insertion loss programmable photonic circuit is demonstrated based on a 7‐cell hexagonal waveguide mesh with a large free spectral range (FSR) of 31 GHz for a 6‐gate ring resonator configuration. Vernier rings and a dual‐injected ring configuration are demonstrated on this circuit with a further improved FSR of 93 GHz.

A tri‐specific scaffold cell (TriSC) platform is engineered to enable programmable, reversible, and multiplex surface assembly through orthogonal and spontaneous coiled‐coil interactions. Independent targeting and therapeutic nanobodies are modularly recruited onto bacterial surfaces, allowing tunable combinatorial functionality.

Ultra-wideband bandpass microstrip filter with electronically tunable notch-band
This paper introduces a compact ultra-wideband (UWB) microstrip filter featuring both a fixed and an electronically tunable notch band. Operating within the frequency range of 3.27 GHz to 5.61 GHz, the filter incorporates a permanent notch at 4.08 GHz ...
