Nanocrystal Quality–Controlled Scintillation in Porous YAG:Ce Aerogels
High‐temperature thermal treatment of YAG:Ce nanoscintillator aerogels increases light yield under ionizing radiation by up to eightfold without affecting timing performance. Additionally, low‐temperature atmospheric treatments reversibly modify the cerium oxidation state, revealing strong defect sensitivity and offering new strategies to optimize ...

COREDIV simulations of D and D–T high current–high power Baseline pulses in JET-ITER like wall
The two best performing pulses of the so called ITER-Baseline scenario ( I _p = 3.5 MA and P _in ≈ 35 MW) of JET-ITER like wall, one in deuterium (D) the other in deuterium–tritium (D–T) plasma are examined and compared in this study.

Tape‐Cast NMC‐LLZO‐LBO‐based Composite Cathodes for Solid‐State Lithium Batteries
Tape‐casting and cosintering of free‐standing Ni‐rich NMC based composite cathodes for garnet‐type all‐solid‐state Li‐batteries. In order to increase the industrial appeal of solid‐state batteries (SSBs) based on garnet Li7La3Zr2O12 (LLZO), the possibility of manufacturing them using scalable production processes such as tape casting must be ...

Global modelling of tungsten impurity transport based on the drift-kinetic equation
A global kinetic simulation model of collisional impurity transport is developed for evaluating the radial particle flux of tungsten impurity in the edge region of a tokamak plasma. Here, the plasma including the impurity and the background ion is presupposed to be quasi-steady.
