Biofabrication aims at providing innovative technologies and tools for the fabrication of tissue‐like constructs for tissue engineering and regenerative medicine applications. By integrating multiple biofabrication technologies, such as 3D (bio) printing with fiber fabrication methods, it would be more realistic to reconstruct native tissue's ...

Close relation of arterial ICC-like cells to the contractile phenotype of vascular smooth muscle cell [PDF]
This work aimed to establish the lineage of cells similar to the interstitial cells of Cajal (ICC), the arterial ICC-like (AIL) cells, which have recently been described in resistance arteries, and to study their location in the artery wall.

Miniaturized Devices for On‐the‐Spot Generation of Small‐Diameter Vascular Grafts
An intracorporeal extrusion device is developed for on‐the‐spot generation of vascular grafts with tunable diameters spanning from 1 to 6 mm. The device uses biomimetic polymers and light, to promptly obtaining biocompatible and high‐burst pressure‐resistant grafts.

A multilayer interstitial fluid flow along vascular adventitia [PDF]
Objective: Interstitial fluid flow through vascular adventitia has been disclosed recently. However, its kinetic pattern was unclear. Methods and Results: We used histological and topographical identifications to observe ISF flow along venous vessels in rabbits.
