Crosstalk between the ribosome quality control‐associated E3 ubiquitin ligases LTN1 and RNF10

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Loss of the E3 ligase LTN1, the ubiquitin‐like modifier UFM1, or the deubiquitinating enzyme UFSP2 disrupts endoplasmic reticulum–ribosome quality control (ER‐RQC), a pathway that removes stalled ribosomes and faulty proteins. This disruption may trigger a compensatory response to ER‐RQC defects, including increased expression of the E3 ligase RNF10 ...

Study on Lining Cracking Damage Mechanism and Control Optimization of Mudstone Railway Tunnel

open access: yesAdvances in Civil Engineering
Ensuring the long-term stability of tunnels in soft rock masses, particularly water-sensitive mudstone, poses a significant challenge in railway engineering.

Tunneling times with covariant measurements

open access: yes, 2009
We consider the time delay of massive, non-relativistic, one-dimensional particles due to a tunneling potential. In this setting the well-known Hartman effect asserts that often the sub-ensemble of particles going through the tunnel seems to cross the ...

TRAIL‐PEG‐Apt‐PLGA nanosystem as an aptamer‐targeted drug delivery system potential for triple‐negative breast cancer therapy using in vivo mouse model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

Comprehensive Study of the Aerodynamic Influence of Ground and Wheel States on the Notchback DrivAer

open access: yesEnergies, 2022
This paper conducts an analysis of the aerodynamic influence of different ground and wheel states on the Notchback DrivAer by numerical simulation. The effects of the moving ground and rotating wheels are investigated individually and comprehensively ...

Aeroelastic instability stoppers for wind tunnel models [PDF]

open access: yes, 1981
A mechanism for diverting the flow in a wind tunnel from the wing of a tested model is described. The wing is mounted on the wall of a tunnel. A diverter plate is pivotally mounted on the tunnel wall ahead of the model. An actuator fixed to the tunnel is

Tunneling magnetothermopower in magnetic tunnel junctions [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review B, 2014
Thermally induced spin-dependent transport across magnetic tunnel junctions (MTJs) is theoretically investigated. We analyze the thermal analog of Slonczewski's model (as well as its limiting case—Julliere's model) of tunneling magnetoresistance and obtain analytical expressions for the junction thermopower and the tunneling magnetothermopower (TMT ...

Circular RNA expression landscapes in myelodysplastic neoplasms: Associations with mutational signatures and disease progression

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In this explorative study, the abundance of circular RNA molecules in bone marrow stem cells was found to be elevated in patients with high‐risk myelodysplastic neoplasms, and to be associated with an increased risk of progression to acute myeloid leukemia.

Interrogating the immune landscape of microsatellite stable RAS‐mutated colon cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
COLOSSUS project RAS‐mutated MSS colon cancer study explored transcriptomics and immune cell density by immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunoscore (IS), ISIC/TuLIS scores, mutation counts, and detected different prevalences but similar microenvironment composition across immune markers with clinical relevance for future immunotherapy combination ...

Coal and Gas Outburst Behavior in Gas-Bearing Tunnels Revealed Through an Interpretable ISSA-DNN Learning Framework

open access: yesGeofluids
Coal and gas outbursts represent one of the most severe safety hazards during the construction of gas-bearing tunnels. Accurate risk prediction remains difficult because of complex geological conditions, limited sample sizes, and the inherent ...
