Emerging risk factors influencing the occurrence of peri‐implantitis

open access: yesPeriodontology 2000, EarlyView.
Abstract Background The objective of the present review is to explore the evidence and biological plausibility of factors that may expose dental implants to a greater likelihood of developing peri‐implantitis. Material and Methods An electronic screening on the PubMed library the was carried out to identify potential emerging factors that influence the

Definition and recommendations for trial methods for evaluating dentin hypersensitivity: A hybrid AI‐assisted scoping review and Delphi consensus process

open access: yesPeriodontology 2000, EarlyView.
Abstract Background Dentin hypersensitivity (DH) is a common yet inconsistently defined condition impacting oral health and quality of life. Variability in diagnostic criteria and trial methodologies has limited comparability of previous research. Objectives To map current definitions, diagnostic frameworks, and clinical trial methodologies in DH ...

Blasting Vibration Control and Signal Analysis of Adjacent Existing Deterioration Tunnels

open access: yesApplied Sciences
Building a new tunnel adjacent to an existing tunnel has become a common means of transformation in engineering. Existing tunnels are prone to some deterioration, such as cavities and cracks under long-term traffic load. This kind of deterioration tunnel

Hydroxamic Acids as HDAC Inhibitor Drug Leads for Malaria

open access: yesMedicinal Research Reviews, Volume 46, Issue 6, Page 1477-1498, November 2026.
ABSTRACT Malaria is a global health threat, with an estimated 282 million cases and 610,000 malaria‐associated deaths reported in 2024. Most mortality is due to infection by Plasmodium falciparum parasites, with the highest burden occurring in Sub‐Saharan Africa.

Measuring Dry Deposition of Sea Spray Aerosol and Height of Aerosol Plume Using a Controlled Wave Pool

open access: yesJournal of Geophysical Research: Atmospheres, Volume 131, Issue 19, 16 October 2026.
Abstract Deposition of sea spray aerosols facilitates atmospheric corrosion of materials, requiring maintenance and replacement over time. However, the dimensions of sea spray aerosol plumes produced from breaking waves have not been well‐characterized, limiting useful prediction of particle transport downwind and atmospheric corrosion. Therefore, this

Intelligent Monitoring and Warning for Road‐Network Tunnels Via Feature Matching

open access: yesApplied Research, Volume 5, Issue 5, October 2026.
To address the safety issues in mountain tunnel construction, an early warning model integrating association rules and text vectorization feature matching was developed. The validation on two tunnels demonstrated that this model can accurately predict accident types and actively identify risks, providing support for dynamic safety management and the ...

Influence of a Frame Structure Building Demolition on an Adjacent Subway Tunnel: Monitoring and Analysis

open access: yesBuildings
In a complex urban environment, the impact of building demolitions by blasting on the structural integrity of nearby metro tunnels is critical. This study systematically analyzed the blasting and demolition process of a building adjacent to a metro ...

Modification of Surface Velocity Calculation Formula in Tunnel Blasting

open access: yes, 2011
The blasting vibration in Qingdao Cross-harbor Tunnel Guide Line Project is monitored and analyzed. We discover that the surface particle vibration velocity in the range of 5metres around the working face reduces fast, and that does not conform to ...

Whole‐Genome Resequencing Reveals the Genetic Diversity and Adaptive Evolution of Rhabdophis nuchalis

open access: yesEcology and Evolution, Volume 16, Issue 10, October 2026.
Rhabdophis nuchalis populations from four regions were analyzed using genome resequencing. The results showed that the Sichuan and Yunnan populations formed one cluster, while the Hubei and Shaanxi populations formed another. The Yunnan population displayed the highest genetic diversity.
