Furan‐Substituted Phosphine‐Oxide as an Efficient Interfacial Modifier for Wide‐Bandgap Perovskite Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
We report phosphine‐oxide interlayers for wide‐bandgap perovskite solar cells, in which tuned P = O Lewis basicity enables selective passivation of buried NiOx/perovskite interfaces and introduces interfacial dipoles that strengthen the built‐in field.

A Deep Learning-Driven Framework for Real-Time Recognition and Quantification of Subway Tunnel Surface Defects Using High-Resolution Imaging

open access: yesUrban Rail Transit
Subway tunnels, with their complex underground environment, frequently develop surface defects like cracks and water leakage over time. Traditional manual inspection methods are inadequate for current accuracy and efficiency needs.

Atomic Layer Deposition in Transistors and Monolithic 3D Integration

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Transistors are fundamental building blocks of modern electronics. This review summarizes recent progress in atomic layer deposition (ALD) for the synthesis of two‐dimensional (2D) metal oxides and transition‐metal dichalcogenides (TMDCs), with particular emphasis on their enabling role in monolithic three‐dimensional (M3D) integration for next ...

Multi‐Functional ZnO–Te Heterojunction Devices Enabling Compact Frequency Quadrupler

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Wafer‐scale ZnO–Te heterojunction devices featuring tunable double negative differential transconductance (D‐NDT) are demonstrated at ≤ 200°C. Leveraging this unique characteristic, a single‐stage frequency quadrupler is realized, achieving a 64%–75% reduction in device count.

Kinetic Regimes of Hydrogen Absorption in Thin Films

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Knowledge of the hydrogen incorporation mechanisms in thin layers in relation to the amount absorbed is essential to design coatings and devices compatible with hydrogen‐based technologies. A combination of simultaneous in situ methods gives detailed insight into the hydrogenation of a prototypical hydrogen absorber layer in a time‐dependent manner ...

Study on the Influence Factors of Surrounding Tunnel Longitudinal Deformation Caused by Pit Excavation Based on Nonlinear Pasternak Modeling

open access: yesBuildings
In practical engineering, it is often necessary to constructed deep pits next to tunnels. So it is crucial to evaluate surrounding tunnels deformation and stress to ensure their safe operation.

Numerical Investigation of Heat-Insulating Layers in a Cold Region Tunnel, Taking into Account Airflow and Heat Transfer

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2017
In cold regions, heat-insulating layers play a crucial role in frost prevention in tunnels. This paper presents a numerical study on the anti-freezing behavior of a cold region tunnel (the Dege tunnel) with heat-insulating layers. A numerical model based
