Determination of particle concentration in latexes by turbidimetry

International Journal of Pharmaceutics, 1993
The capacities and limits of turbidimetry for determining the particle concentration in latexes were studied. The size dependence of the specific turbidity (τC) was demonstrated for monodisperse latexes with sizes between 114 and 1060 nm. The particle concentration (C) of different latexes was calculated from turbidity values.

[Clinical significance of turbidimetry of the semen]. [PDF]

open access: yesHinyokika kiyo. Acta urologica Japonica, 1969
Turbidimetry with a spectrophotometer was carried out on one hundred semens, and the values were compared with their sperm counts. A rather significant correlation (0.71) was obtained, but it was not enough to make the turbidity as a single quantitative ...

Turbidimetry by Image Degradation Analysis

IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement, 2020
Here, we describe a method to measure turbidity in liquids by probing a graphic pattern by optical transmission. Data are collected by a video camera, and a mathematical algorithm is used to correlate image loss with turbidity. We report high-resolution turbidity measurements of nanoparticle colloids to assess the proposed methodology. Measurements are
