Long‐Tea‐CLIP: An Expert‐Level Multimodal AI Framework for Fine‐Grained Green Tea Grading Across Five Sensory Dimensions

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Long‐Tea‐CLIP (Contrastive Language‐Image Pre‐training) presents a multimodal AI framework that integrates visual, metabolomic, and sensory knowledge to grade green tea across appearance, soup color, aroma, taste, and infused leaf. By combining expert‐guided modeling with CLIP‐supervised learning, the system delivers fine‐grained quality evaluation and

Autogenic influence on the morphology of submarine fans: an approach from 3D physical modelling of turbidity currents

open access: yesBrazilian Journal of Geology
: Autogenic controls have significant influence on deep-water fans and depositional lobes morphology. In this work, we aim to investigate autogenic controls on the topography and geometry of deep-water fans. The influence of the sediment concentration of

Two distinct types of turbidity currents observed in the Manila Trench, South China Sea

open access: yesCommunications Earth & Environment, 2023
Slow, fine-grained, tide-influenced “Tortoises” and fast, coarse-grained “Hares” represent distinct types of turbidity currents observed in a one-year time series from moorings measuring current speed and sediment properties within the Manila trench.

H2S‐Releasing Aspirin Nanoparticles Alleviate Endometriosis and Associated Anxiety

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Albumin nanoparticles loaded with an H2S‐releasing aspirin derivative (ACS14) hitchhiking neutrophils after intraperitoneal injection and preferentially accumulate in endometriosis lesions in mice. The treatment suppresses lesion growth by regulating PI3K/Akt and reduces inflammation by inhibiting NF‐κB.

Linking Direct Measurements of Turbidity Currents to Submarine Canyon-Floor Deposits

open access: yesFrontiers in Earth Science, 2019
Submarine canyons are conduits for episodic and powerful sediment density flows (commonly called turbidity currents) that move globally significant amounts of terrestrial sediment and organic carbon into the deep sea, forming some of the largest ...

Bifunctional Artificial Enzymes‐Loaded Microgels With LOX‐ and CAT‐Like Activities for Metabolic Reprogramming and Scarless Wound Repair

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A bifunctional lactate oxidase‐like and catalase‐like artificial enzyme (Metazyme) is integrated into a rod‐shaped microgel (MetaRgel) to enable cascade lactate oxidation and oxygen regeneration. By reprogramming the wound metabolic microenvironment, MetaRgel alleviates excessive lactate accumulation, oxidative stress, hypoxia, and inflammation ...

Repeated occurrence of surface-sediment remobilization along the landward slope of the Japan Trench by great earthquakes

open access: yesEarth, Planets and Space, 2020
Deep-sea turbidites have been utilized to understand the history of past large earthquakes. Surface-sediment remobilization is considered to be a mechanism for the initiation of earthquake-induced turbidity currents, based on the studies on the event ...

A 3D Numerical Model for Turbidity Currents

open access: yesWSEAS TRANSACTIONS ON FLUID MECHANICS, 2020
A numerical model that solves two-phase flow motion equations to reproduce turbidity currents that occur in reservoirs, is proposed. Three formalizations of the two-phase flow motion equations are presented: the first one can be adopted for high concentration values; the second one is valid under the hypothesis of diluted concentrations; the third one ...
