Robust turbo equalization under channel uncertainties
Robust turbo equalization over discrete time channels with inter-symbol interference (ISI) in the presence of channel uncertainties is investigated. The turbo equalization framework proposed in this paper contains a linear equalizer (LE) and a trellis based decoder.

Low Complexity Time-Concatenated Turbo Equalization for Block Transmission Without Guard Interval: Part 1—The Concept [PDF]
This paper proposes a novel time-concatenated turbo equalization technique, chained turbo equalization (CHATUE), that allows block transmission systems to eliminate the guard interval (GI), while achieving excellent performance.

Convergence analysis for turbo-equalization [PDF]
We investigate a sub-optimal iterative receiver for joint equalization and decoding called the turbo-equalizer. We view the evolution of the error variance of the transmitted symbols through the iterative processing, obtaining the convergence analysis.

Iterative channel equalization, channel decoding and source decoding
The performance of soft source decoding is evaluated over dispersive AWGN channels. By employing source codes having error-correcting capabilities, such as Reversible Variable-Length Codes (RVLCs) and Variable-Length Error-Correcting (VLEC) codes, the ...

Frequency Domain Hybrid-ARQ Chase Combining for Broadband MIMO CDMA Systems [PDF]
In this paper, we consider high-speed wireless packet access using code division multiple access (CDMA) and multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO). Current wireless standards, such as high speed packet access (HSPA), have adopted multi-code transmission ...
