Progress, Challenges, and Outlook for Sodium‐Ion Battery Recycling
This review highlights the progress and challenges of sodium‐ion batteries (SIBs) recycling. It introduces the main material systems of SIBs and their degradation, outlines economic, technical, and environmental requirements, and evaluates four major strategies: pretreatment, pyrometallurgy, hydrometallurgy, and direct regeneration.

A sustainable alternative to steam cracking, the molten‐salt‐mediated oxidative dehydrogenation (MM‐ODH) of ethane (C2H6) in Li2CO3‐Na2CO3‐K2CO3 (LNK) couples thermal cracking with melt‐mediated CO2 capture to realize commercially competitive C2H4 and CO yields. LNK composition strongly influences MM‐ODH process outcomes.

The use of metallized glass‐based woven‐grids instead of metal foils as current collectors for LIBs leads to a significant reduction in metal usage by over 90 % and weight savings of more than 80 %, resulting in an 11 % increase in specific energy at the cell level. Abstract A novel class of resource‐efficient, woven‐glass‐grid current collectors (CCs)

Photothermal bubble: Dynamics, manipulation, and applications
As a versatile platform for bubble manipulation, photothermal techniques empower diverse operations: planar translation by scanning the laser spot, sustained periodic bouncing from competing thermal and hydrodynamic flows, and even guided 3D trajectories achieved by tailoring the heating configuration.

Curved hydrophobic mesh surfaces enable stable release of large droplets exceeding the capillary length. By tuning surface curvature, porosity, and acceleration, oscillatory breakup is suppressed, producing near‐spherical droplets ideal for high‐precision fluid applications and multiphase flow control.
