This study investigates the mechanical and physical properties of mortars incorporating crushed hazelnut shell (HS) as a partial replacement for fine aggregates. Mortar mixtures were prepared with varying water‐to‐cement (w/c) ratios ranging from 0.35 to 0.50 and HS dosages of 2.5%, 5%, and 7.5% by weight, along with reference mixtures without HS.

ABSTRACT Hydrogen is a promising carbon‐free fuel but faces challenges due to combustion instability and nitrogen oxide (NOx${\rm NO}_x$) emissions during combustion. This study investigates the potential of blending hydrocarbons (methane, propane) or ammonia with hydrogen‐air flames in order to minimize these challenges.

Thermal Release Characteristics of Aeroengine Combustor Outlet Modulated by Gliding Arc Plasma
Gliding arc plasma‐assisted combustion significantly improves aeroengine combustor. Gliding arc plasma moves flames closer to the fuel source, enabling complete burning. This increases the combustion efficiency by 10.3% and raises outlet temperature by 141.6°C.

This study explores hydrogen enrichment in a dual‐fuel diesel engine fuelled with a Mahua biodiesel/diesel blend. At 10 L min−1 hydrogen flow, engine efficiency rises while fuel consumption and major emissions decline, though NOx increases. The findings highlight hydrogen's role in cleaner combustion and its contribution to advancing Sustainable ...

Performance‐Emission Optimization of a Diesel Engine Blended With Biodiesel and Pentanol
ABSTRACT The quest for novel alternative fuel blends is fueled by the urgent need to address the inadequacy of fossil fuels and the escalating environmental concerns. While previous studies have primarily explored base fuel and minimally diluted alcohol content since the late 20th century, a significant research gap exists in the comparative analysis ...
