Hydrogen‐Enriched Microbial Oil Biodiesel With Hybrid Nanoparticles Impact on Diesel Engine Efficiency and Emissions

open access: yesAsia-Pacific Journal of Chemical Engineering, Volume 21, Issue 1, January/February 2026.
ABSTRACT This study examines a dual‐fuel enhancement strategy that combines hydrogen enrichment with hybrid nanoparticle (HNP) doping. The aim is to improve combustion, performance, and emission characteristics of microbial oil biodiesel (MOB) in compression ignition engines.

Mechanical and Physical Performance of Mortars Incorporating Crushed Hazelnut Shells as Partial Fine Aggregate Replacement

open access: yesAdvances in Materials Science and Engineering, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
This study investigates the mechanical and physical properties of mortars incorporating crushed hazelnut shell (HS) as a partial replacement for fine aggregates. Mortar mixtures were prepared with varying water‐to‐cement (w/c) ratios ranging from 0.35 to 0.50 and HS dosages of 2.5%, 5%, and 7.5% by weight, along with reference mixtures without HS.

Study on Chemical Kinetic Mechanism of Methanol/Ammonia/n‐Heptane for Engine Combustion

open access: yesInternational Journal of Energy Research, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
Methanol and ammonia are considered promising low‐carbon fuel blends for engine applications; however, achieving stable ignition under compression–ignition conditions remains challenging. As a result, a small quantity of n‐heptane can be introduced as a highly reactive pilot fuel to initiate the combustion process. In this study a detailed mechanism is
