Enaminone‐Based Push–Pull Chromophores: Synthesis, Optical Properties, and Computational Insights

open access: yesAsian Journal of Organic Chemistry, EarlyView.
Enaminones, known for their pharmacophoric properties, were combined with alkyne units to create complex chromophore structures through click‐type [2 + 2] cycloaddition‐retroelectrocyclization reactions. The ICT characteristics of the synthesized compounds were analyzed using both experimental and computational approaches.
