Bu çalışmada Kızılçam kerestesinde elastikiyet modülü (EM) doğrusal modelleme ve yapay sinir ağları (YSA) metotları kullanılarak tahmin edilmiştir. Kereste örnekleri Türkiye'nin güneyinden 30-80 yaşlarında kesilen kızılçam ağaçlarından elde edilmiştir.

Five-year results of the impact of pine processionary moth (Thaumetopoea wilkinsoni Tams) on the growth of Turkish red pine (Pinus brutia Ten.)

Pine processionary caterpillar (Thaumetopoea wilkinsoni Tams.) larvaecause defoliation by eating leaves mainly in Turkish red pine, but sometimes incedar and Crimean pine forests in Mediterranean Region of Turkey. The growth rateof the trees are adversely affected by the defoliation, even it is temporary.
