Bio‐Inspired Micro‐Fin‐Assisted Multi‐Modal Vascular Intervention
A magnetic guidewire with a micro‐fin–integrated tip is introduced for multimodal cardiovascular navigation. The micro‐fins exploit fluid drag to augment magnetic torque, enabling bifurcation traversal at 15 mT, tolerating 45° misalignment, bidirectional crawling, and buckle self‐correction.

Assemblage, archive, and ancestor: Developing more‐than‐human historical geography with salmon
This paper interrogates recent geographic literature on the more‐than‐human archive and argues that there needs to be more specificity when conceptualising and researching the more‐than‐human. It then answers this call for specificity by theorising three modes of more‐than‐human historical geography that are developed through empirical encounters with ...

Abstract Conservation of marine ecosystems can be improved through a better understanding of ecosystem functioning, particularly the cryptic underwater behaviours and interactions of marine predators. Image‐based bio‐logging devices (including images, videos and active acoustic) are increasingly used to monitor wildlife movements, foraging behaviours ...

Abstract Species distribution models (SDMs) are one of the most common statistical methods to assess species occupancy and geographic distribution patterns. With the increasing complexity and availability of ecological data in the marine context, many methodological approaches have been developed to support SDM analysis.

ABSTRACT Atrial fibrillation (AF) is the most common sustained cardiac arrhythmia encountered in clinical practice. Its incidence increases significantly with age and has become a major global public health issue. Although research into the mechanisms of AF has spanned over a century‐ranging from the reentry theory to the rotor hypothesis‐none of these

ABSTRACT Research characterises the child as an active learner who attends more to and selectively retains information they actively elicit better than information they passively receive. At the same time, children learn best from knowledgeable others who tailor information to children's learning progress.

Learned navigation in unknown terrains: A retraction method [PDF]
The problem of learned navigation of a circular robot R, of radius delta (is greater than or equal to 0), through a terrain whose model is not a-priori known is considered.
